This template is used to generate the above/title section in a region history sidebar.

Parameters

country

The name of the country, which should be the same as the name used in the article about the history of the country.

Example: |region=the Netherlands to link to History of the Netherlands.

image 

Filename of a representative image.

Example: |image=[[File:Albania state emblem.svg|75px|State emblem of Albania]]

For regions that are not countries

region

The name of the region, which should correspond with the title of the article about the region.

Example: |region=North Dakota

Modifying links

Optional parameter to override the default History of region link

series

Optional parameter to override the default Category:History of region category link

Removing the separator

separator-width

By default, the horizontal rule at the bottom of the box has width 1px, to remove the separator, set |separator-width=0.
